Green Jungle Resort located in the Buffer Zone area of Amaltari Ghat, Nawalparasi combines the best of jungle wilderness yet within close proximity to Tharu and Bote villages. The market town of Kawasoti is a mere 20 minute drive and the nearest airport at Bharatpur is an hours’ drive away.
The Temple Tiger Green Resort features 25 air-conditioned villas with private balconies, overlooking the Chitwan National Park and the Narayani River, about a 30-minute boat ride from the main park.
The Temple Tiger Resort was constructed when the other lodges were stopped from operating within the park, and now offers the best accommodation in the area. The rooms have been tastefully designed, and more importantly come with air-conditioning meaning that guests can now visit the park during the hotter months of April and May when the sightings are usually very good – the older lodges were not air-conditioned and as such you could only visit during the colder winter months. The rooms have wood floors with throw carpets and have solar heated bathrooms with hot water. Each villa is thatched, and has a sit-out with good views. There is a central dining room, overlooking a man-made lake. There is also a bar and lounge.

All of Green Jungle Resort villas use solar-panels for heating water and we have up to date water filtration system in place. All of their vehicles have met the emission control standards set by the Government and They strive to use alternative transport i.e. Elephant, Row-boats and Oxen-pulled cart whenever possible.

DAY 01
Pick-up from Bharatpur Airport : Arrival at camp following an hours’ drive (45 km)
Welcome/ Briefing : Upon arrival there will be a short briefing on the program, our facilities and room allocations
Lunch : Nepali buffet lunch- served in traditional dishware
Elephant Safari : Following a brief downtime after lunch, we will make our way to the elephant platform to mount for the Elephant Safari. The safari will last for about 2 hours +/- 30 minutes
Wildlife Presentation : After the elephant safari guests can choose to freshen-up or get a drink at the bar. The presentation on Wildlife and Flora & Fauna of Chitwan National Park will take place in the Round House, followed by a round of Q&A by the guests.
Dinner: Soup will be served to guest at the table followed by a Continental buffet dinner
The Bar will remain open till the last guest retires

Departure : Guests will be dropped-off to Bharatpur Airport by our Naturalists
